Founder and President of Newsline®
(1958 Zaragoza, Spain)
Miguel Ramos is president and founder of Newsline Press & Public
Relations Consultancy. He has a lot of experience in the fields
of Journalism, Communication and Public Relations. Miguel started
his professional career abroad as a Correspondent for the newspapers
'Cambio 16' and 'La Vanguardia' in respectively Paris and London.
Back in Spain, he founded Newsline as a Press Documentation Service
Bureau. In the following years he held positions as Press Officer
for Nissan Motor Spain, Director external relations for the Spanish
Red Cross and Editor for a wide variety of media as for example:
'Expansion', 'Economics' and 'Radio France'.
Miguel taught Journalism at The University of Barcelona and The
European University in Barcelona and is currently a lecturer at
the Center of International Relations, The Barcelona Fair and The
Club of Marketing.
In his spare time, Miguel is taking care of lobbying and administrative
activities for the Environmental Association 'Bellaterra Natura'
of which he is president. Apart from that he is a writer; one of
his books called Diarío (1993) even won the first price of literature
called 'Ciudad de Irún'.
Miguel has a degree in Communication Science from University Autónoma
de Barcelona. He went to Paris in order to qualify himself in International
Relations at l´Instituto d´Estudes Politiques. Furthermore he studied
Philosophy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
