| Luiz is Newsline´s correspondent
in Lisbon since 2001. Prior to joining Newsline, Luiz was secretary-general
of the Portuguese Confederation of Commercial Services. Before
this, he had a long career as an Editor for various media like
"Expansao", "Tempo" and "Voz de Moçambique".
He has also worked as a correspondent in Mozambique, Africa
for the publication "Comercio do Funchal"
Luiz has a degree in Economics from the Institute of Economy
of the Technical University of Lisbon (1979).
